Our vision is to transform lives with the word of God through our wholesome Christian programmes in homes and institutions across nations.

Mission

Our Mission is to offer a variety of wholesome Christian programming and services to save souls and also to inspire, encourage, empower and equip the people of God.

Founder

MTM TV was founded by Bishop Basil Hanson, a visionary Jamaican Pastor and Evangelist, who answered God’s call to ministry by establishing Mercy and Truth Ministries in 1992. Bishop Hanson began spreading the Gospel through preaching and teaching across the Caribbean and beyond.

In 1998, Bishop Hanson launched MTM TV in partnership with a single cable provider, establishing Jamaica’s first Christian cable network. What began as a local broadcast in Kingston quickly expanded to serve multiple Jamaican parishes, the Caribbean, and a global audience.

Responding to God's call in 1992, Bishop Basil Hanson established Mercy and Truth Ministries, a ministry through which he travelled extensively across the Caribbean and the world, passionately preaching and teaching the Gospel.
